Pros and Cons of Incandescent Bulbs 

The traditional light bulbs, including incandescent bulbs,consume a lot of energy. However, advanced technology has led researchers to develop more energy-efficient bulbs, known as incandescent halogen bulbs. These bulbs consume 25% less energy than conventional bulbs of the same category. 

Another advantage of incandescent bulbs is that they look like traditional bulbs. So, if you want to glow your home or indoor space in a conventional way, you can use these bulbs. The lifespan of these bulbs is usually 2-3 years and produce a brighter glow. 

On the other hand, incandescent lights bulbs are less energy-efficient and generate electromagnetic radiation that can harm your health. Some research studies have highlighted that the high heat produced by such bulbs can increase greenhouse emissions, making them hazardous for the environment.
